Dear Parents/Guardians:
Eatontown Public Schools continues to plan in order to increase students’ time in school as long as conditions continue to improve and health guidance does not change. Our collective success has been created due to the various members of our school community cooperating and collaborating together.
The district has decided to provide one final opportunity for students to return to school this year. This decision was a consequence of improving COVID-19 case data in our area and low COVID-19 exposure rates in school. In addition, as of the Governor’s latest guidance, all students will be expected to return to school full-day, five days per week in September 2021 with no remote option.
Remote learning students may return to in-person learning beginning Tuesday, June 1st. In order to change your child’s schedule from remote learning to in-person learning, parents and guardians must contact their child’s principal before Thursday, May 27th with their request. After Thursday, May 27th, the next time for students to return to in-person learning will be in September 2021.
If you desire to change your child’s schedule from remote learning to in-person learning, please contact the principal of your child’s school before Thursday, May 27th via email using the contact information below:

It is important to note that if you do not wish to change your child’s schedule at this time, no further action is required. The ultimate goal is to have students return to school for five, full days in September 2021. Planning to accomplish this important goal is ongoing.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Scott T. McCue
