Tryout Information
2024 Girls Soccer Season Tryout Information
Tuesday, September 10th & Wednesday, September 11th
All tryout times are from 2:30-4:00 P.M. and for ALL students interested.
All players trying out must return a permission slip and have an updated physical that the Memorial School nurse clears.
Students must bring all equipment to school on the day of tryouts. They will need shorts, shin guards, socks, cleats, sneakers, a T-shirt, a drink, and goalie gloves if they are trying out for that position.
6th-8th grade students will try out at the Memorial School soccer field on all tryout days. Students must be picked up at 4:00 p.m. There is no bus to take students home under any circumstances!
If we can’t get on the field due to weather conditions, an announcement will be made about whether tryouts will be postponed or if we will conduct tryouts inside the gym at Memorial School. Have sneakers just in case!

What Happens if You Make the Team?
Check the Google Classroom for the final roster. The roster will be posted by 7 PM on 9/11.
The first team practice will be from 2:30-4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 12th.
Permission Slip
All Students: All students trying out must return a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.
Physical/Health Forms
If you need a new sports physical (you never tried out before, or your previous sports physical has expired) you will need to complete the Sports Physical & Required Health Forms
For students with a sports physical that took place on or after August 31, 2023 which was already approved by our school physician, you only need to submit a Health History Update and Sports Injury Sign-Offs for the new school year.
The following documents must be reviewed by each athlete and their parents/guardians each school year. These are for your information only and do not need to be returned to the school.
Pay close attention to the announcements for important dates for team meetings, tryouts, practices, and cancellations.
Physical paperwork is due to your school nurse by August 30, 2024. The physical exam must have taken place on or after August 31, 2023. Late physicals cannot be accepted.
