2025 Boys Baseball Tryout Information
Monday, March 3rd (6th, 7th, 8th Grade)
Tuesday, March 4th (6th, 7th, 8th Grade)
All tryout times are from 2:30 - 5:00 PM
All players who are trying out must return a permission slip and have an updated physical that is cleared by the Memorial School Nurse.
Students will need to bring all equipment with them to school on the day of tryouts. They will need a baseball glove, hat, sneakers, cleats, sweatpants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, and drink. Bats may be brought but we will have some provided if needed. Don't buy anything before tryouts if you don't already own it. We will have extra equipment if needed.
6th - 8th Grade students will meet in the locker room after students are dismissed from their last period class. Students must be picked up at 5:00 PM. There is no bus to take students home under any circumstances. Location of tryouts is to be determined/updated on Google Classroom once we are notified of weather conditions. If we can't get on the field due to weather conditions, we will conduct tryouts inside the gym at Memorial School. Students will notify their parents at the beginning of the tryout if this is the case.

What You Need to do Before Tryouts
Turn in Physical Paperwork to Nurse Lucy by 2/28/2025
Turn in your Permission Slip to Coach Guiliano by 2/28/2025
Make sure you have all the equipment needed to try out
Arrange transportation to be picked up at 5:00 PM (No late bus provided)
What Happens If You Make the Baseball Team?
First team practice will be from 2:30 - 5:00 PM on March 5th at Memorial School.
Tryout permission slips are due February 28th. Please see the front office for permission slips.
Permission Slip
All Students: All students trying out must return a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.
Physical/Health Forms
If you need a new sports physical (you never tried out before, or your previous sports physical has expired) you will need to complete the Sports Physical & Required Health Forms
For students with a sports physical that took place on or after February 28, 2024 which was already approved by our school physician, you only need to submit a Health History Update and Sports Injury Sign-Offs for the new school year.
The following documents must be reviewed by each athlete and their parents/guardians each school year. These are for your information only and do not need to be returned to the school.
Pay close attention to the announcements for important dates for team meetings, tryouts, practices, and cancellations.
Physical paperwork is due to your school nurse by February 28, 2025. The physical exam must have taken place on or after February 28, 2024. Late physicals cannot be accepted.
