Dear Parents/Guardians:
In order to protect the health and safety of all Eatontown Public School community members, the district asks that you follow the recommendations of our local health department as well as our state and CDC officials.
Over the next two months, our families will be celebrating various special occasions and holidays which traditionally bring people together and in some cases require long-distance travel. It is very important that school community members adhere to the quarantine recommendations if you travel to an area on the New Jersey quarantine list. Our local health officials have provided school districts with written communications that clearly state that individuals who need to quarantine are mandated to do so by law. Quarantine is not optional according to the health department.
Consequently, if you or your child travel to an area on the New Jersey quarantine list, please contact the school and follow the quarantine timeline of 14 days. Your child will be able to learn virtually or remotely during this time.
Please review the New Jersey quarantine list and information by visiting COVID19.nj.gov. These guidelines apply to both students and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation during these challenging times.
Sincerely,
Scott T. McCue
Superintendent of Schools
