During the month of May our preschool classes worked on the Reduce Reuse Recycle Study. Our Google class assignments used many different platforms to keep the students engaged with learning. The assignments included books, games, science experiments and exercise to name a few. We were excited to have Emily Watts with Eatontown Department of Public Works join in all of our Zoom meetings on May 20th. She explained her job as well as how and what our town recycles. Our students (and parents) were able to ask questions and show what we recycle. We all learned a lot! For one of our hands-on learning projects we helped contribute to DPW’s plastic film challenge to make a bench out of 500 pounds of plastic film. It was so nice to connect in person with the students that participated!
