Eatontown Public Schools once again participated in the annual Lions International Peace Poster Contest. The Eatontown Lions Club’s Head Lion, Mr. Sal Granata, presented the winners of the Peace Poster Contest at the January 27th Board of Education meeting. The first place winner was Yuanne Chung, the second place winner was Natalie Chrobocinski, and the third place winner was Cibella Tvrdik.
The theme of this year’s Peace Poster Contest was “Journey of Peace.” Young people ages 11, 12, or 13 by November 15, 2019 were eligible to participate in the contest. This contest is held annually by the Lions Club, and allows young people to express their visions of peace through art. Lions Clubs around the world proudly sponsor the contest in local schools and youth groups annually.
