The Girl’s Basketball Team has had an outstanding season thus far. The players are  learning, working hard and playing as a team every day. The Lady Hawks are currently 7-4 and for the first time in 10 years, the girl’s basketball team is projected to make a run in the playoffs.  The Hawks are lucky enough to be led by five 8th graders; Mia Troese, Gianna Cavalluzzi, Ashley Rescinio, Aracely Velez, and Crystal Velez. These veteran Hawks continue to set a foundation for what hard work and being a good teammate look like. Our team is highlighted by strong offensive efforts by Mia Troese who is currently averaging 17 points a game and strong defensive efforts by Gianna Cavalluzi and Ashley Rescinio while Aracely Velez, Crystal Velez and Amaya Harris crash the boards hard and secure both offensive and defensive rebounds each game. This team has shown a tremendous amount of progress so far and we are looking forward to continuing to work hard and have fun!
