This notice is to advise you that the following pesticide was used at Woodmere School:

Description of the problem and the factors that qualified the problem as an emergency that threatened the health or safety of a student or staff member: Stinging insects pose a threat to people, especially those that are allergic to their sting.

If applicable, description of steps to be taken to avoid emergency use of pesticides for this problem in the future: N/A

Description of the possible adverse effects of the pesticide(s) as per the Material Safety Data Sheets for the pesticide(s) to be used, if available: Moderate eye irritation. Can cause irritation to the skin resulting in effects such as burning and/or tingling sensation. May cause irritation, redness. Harmful if absorbed through skin. Harmful if swallowed. Harmful if inhaled. May cause upper respiratory tract irritation.

Pesticide product label instructions and precautions related to public safety:

CAUTION: Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Do not get into eyes, on skin, or on clothing. A void breathing dust. If clothing becomes contaminated, remove and wash before reuse. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling.
