The Gifted and Talented (G/T) program aims to stretch student abilities and provide meaningful challenges through a structured identification process. This method employs a clear, objective assessment based on five key criteria components: benchmark assessments in math and literacy, InView scores, report card data, and a teacher recommendation matrix. By evaluating these factors, the program ensures that eligible students can engage with rigorous content tailored to their individual strengths and needs. This comprehensive approach not only identifies students who may benefit from advanced programs but also fosters an environment where they can push their limits and unlock their full potential. Participants are exposed to challenging tasks and problem-solving skills across STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and literacy, preparing them for future success and deeper learning experiences.
