  • Eatontown Memorial School to Host 48th Annual Italian Dinner
It is a tradition that has gone on for 48 consecutive years. Each February, the Eatontown community gathers for the Memorial School Italian Dinner. It is the primary fund-raiser for the annual 3-day, 2-night 8th grade class trip to Washington, D.C. This is another tradition which began way back in 1955!

This year’s dinner will be held in the Memorial School all-purpose room on Friday, February 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. (Snow date is Sunday, February 9, from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M.). The menu includes fresh salad and bread, ziti with homemade meatballs, beverage, and dessert. This year, the Eatontown Education Association will also be providing a free face painter and balloon twister for the event. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 10 and under.

The dinner is prepared entirely by the Memorial School staff. This is their contribution to enabling our district to continue to provide our students with the never-to-be-forgotten experience of the Washington Trip. Class photos in front of the U.S. Capitol of each Washington Trip from 1955 to 2019 line the main hallway of the school.

Tickets are available from the Memorial School Main Office, or they may be purchased at the dinner. Please call (732) 542-5013 for more information. This is a “win-win” for everyone – enjoying a delicious meal while supporting a very worthwhile experience for our students.

All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you on February 7th.
